ABOUT US
Mansfield Handyman Services was started in 2016 by Steven Kirchner who had a desire to work with his hands and solve problems.
During the COVID era, Steven took a short pause from MHS and started attending trade-specific classes to further his education. With his new education, he thought working for someone would in best interest for himself and family. But he quickly realized he made the wrong decision. His talents were limited and he missed the relationships he formed when working for MHS clients. In the Fall of 2023, Steven and his wife decided it was time to bring back Mansfield Handyman Services.
Steven started working in construction during his high school days, finishing out commercial spaces and moving on to constructing steel buildings after his high school days.
A modern day MacGyver, Steven tackles his projects with several solutions in mind.
A combat veteran, Steven served in the U.S. Army from 2006-2013, ending his military career with the expected arrival of his first daughter and relocating back to Texas to be closer to family.
