About Mansfield Handyman Services

Mansfield Handyman Services was founded in 2016 by Steven Kirchner. With passion for working with his hands and solving real-world problems inspired him to serve his local community. His roots in demolition, construction, and finishing dating back to high school. Steven began by remodeling commercial spaces and later moved on to building steel structures. His versatile approach and problem-solving skills have earned him a reputation as a modern-day MacGyver! Always prepared with multiple solutions for any challenge.

In 2020, amid the changes brought on by the COVID-19 era. Steven paused MHS to pursue additional trade-specific education. Although he briefly considered working for another company, he soon realized this new path limited his ability to connect directly with clients and maintain those strong relationships. That’s when he and his wife Lindsey decided it was time to relaunch Mansfield Handyman Services and reconnect with the community they loved.

Steven is also a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving from 2006 to 2013. He held two distinct roles: first as a Cavalry Scout, specializing in Recon operations. Then as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician (89D), focused on IED defeat and explosive demolition. After his military career, he returned to Texas to start his family, bringing the same dedication and values to his business that he held in the service.

Today, Mansfield Handyman Services continues to uphold Steven’s commitment to quality, integrity, and personalized care for every client’s home repair and maintenance needs.
